If you believe that aluminum is a cause of and/or exacerbates Alzheimers in felines (and humans!), then you’ve got one more reason to switch to a plant-based cat litter. Options include litter made from walnut, corn, wheat, and pine. If you have an extra toilet, another option is to train your cat to use the toilet (with an appropriate platform over the seat).
