Chili peppers are high in Vitamin C (per NutritionData, one raw, green hot chili pepper has 182% of the USDA recommend amount). Raw green hot chili peppers are mildly anti-inflammatory and red are strongly anti-inflammatory. Canned hot chili peppers are also nutritionally beneficial but raw is better.
