Guide Nutriate’s social media activities.

Initially 3 posts per week.  Use business account analytics to refine number and timing of posts (including zero posts) to each social media channel.

Facebook: 1 per day, 1 – 4pm

Instagram: 1 original post per day, 8 – 9am; 1 curated post per day, 2pm

Content Plan

Target market’s BIGGEST problem need, or desire.  Articles to write.  Off-message questions.  Themes for the quarter.  Useful videos.  Useful websites.

Content Rules

  1. <17 word sentences
  2. conversational style
  3. personal pronouns: you, we, us
  4. prioritize importance to target audience
  5. one main idea per paragraph; short paragraphs are okay
  6. use active voice
  7. check readability with MS Word Readability Statistics.  Aim for 6 – 10th grade level [even for Nutriate target audiences??]
  8. white space
  9. 4 – 10 word headline, bold
  10. 14 – 20 word summary
  11. subheads, bold
  12. bullets

Rules of Engagement

  • Keep it clean.
  • Be respectful.
  • Don’t argue.
  • Don’t use anonymity as a shield.
  • Err on the side of good taste.
  • Differentiate between facts and opinion.
