- Alameda Point Collaborative (APC) and Alameda Food Bank have created Food Shift to build a commercial kitchen at Alameda Point and to then staff it with APC residents. The residents employed get job training and the APC as a whole gets meals prepared from surplus food – that would otherwise go to waste – supplied by the Alameda Food Bank.
